CO-OP SPOTLIGHT
Jili Peng
BIM Specialist
I joined Jablonsky as a BIM co-op student in September 2021. I recall the nerves that came with my first task: creating a Dynamo script (a visual programming tool for Revit) to calculate formwork areas. But thanks to the supportive environment of the office, I found the courage to dive in, learn, and ultimately deliver the task successfully. From there, I delved into more scripts, developed ETABS, Revit, Navisworks plugins, and contributed to our in-house database. Each step forward was fueled by my team's belief in my potential. I completed my co-op term in December, and I was delighted to receive an offer to return as a full-time BIM Specialist.

CO-OP SPOTLIGHT
Kelly Hannah
Structural Designer
I was in my third year at University of Waterloo when I started as a Design Co-op at Jablonsky. From designing my first slab, to conducting lateral analysis and evaluating existing structures, I was able to transfer the concepts taught in school to develop complex practical solutions. Using my education to solve real-life engineering challenges gave me the confidence I needed to take on new opportunities and excel in this role. The welcoming office environment made it an easy transition from my co-op role to a full-time role here after graduating.
