About Us
Seeing simplicity in the complex.
As problem solvers, we shine when presented with difficult engineering challenges. We are fearless in our creativity – thinking outside the box to solve unique construction problems with innovative, responsible engineering solutions. We stand behind our work, delivering quality cost-effective results – that's why clients return to work with us, why we've been so successful for so long, and why we're considered one of the top engineering firms in the GTA. Though the world has changed significantly since we first opened our office in 1955, our principles have remained the same: take on difficult challenges, listen to our clients, and deliver innovative results that speak for themselves.

Our History
The company was established as Farkas & Barron of Canada Ltd, a subsidiary of a New York-based consulting firm, under the management of Chief Engineer Jerry Jablonsky.
The company’s name changes to Farkas Barron Jablonsky Consulting Engineers to reflect Jerry Jablonsky’s promotion to Partner, and the Toronto office’s growing independence.
The company becomes fully Canadian-owned, and changes its name to Jablonsky Associates.
To reflect a further adjustment in management responsibilities, the company’s name changes one last time to what it remains today: Jablonsky, Ast and Partners.
Jablonsky, Ast and Partners continues to fortify its position as one of the most prominent structural engineering consultancy firms in Canada.
